The Political Adviser to the Niger State Governor, Hon. Nma Mohammed Kolo (popularly known as Jawon Minna), has called on the people of Niger State to embrace peace, unity, and steadfast support for the administration of Governor Umar Mohammed Bago in building a "New Niger" agenda.

In a New Year message, Jawon Minna extended warm greetings to the residents of Niger State as they bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025 with hope and enthusiasm.

“This is an exciting time,” he remarked. “I want to take a moment to celebrate our esteemed Farmer Governor, Umar Mohammed Bago, for his remarkable developmental initiatives that are genuinely improving the standard of living for our beloved residents. Your selfless dedication to our state is truly inspiring.”

Hon. Kolo expressed gratitude to the people of Niger State for their commitment to peaceful coexistence, emphasizing that their spirit of unity exemplifies the resilience and strength of the state.

“As we look forward to the new year, let us pray for peace, progress, and prosperity throughout our state and beyond,” he said.

Drawing inspiration from sacred texts, the political adviser shared a message of harmony. Quoting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): “Do not hate one another, do not envy one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and be servants of Allah, brothers to one another” (Sahih Muslim). He also referenced the Bible, which says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).

He concluded by encouraging Nigerlites to let the blessings of peace, love, and harmony guide their actions and relationships in the year ahead.

“May the divine blessings of peace, love, and harmony fill our hearts, homes, and communities as we enter this promising new year,” he said.

Hon. Kolo wished all residents a joyous and prosperous New Year, filled with hope and abundant opportunities.
