Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s Peter Obi, former Senate President David Mark, and ex-governors Rauf Aregbesola and Nasir El-Rufai have arrived at the Yar’Dua Centre for coalition meeting.

Other key political figures sighted at the venue include a former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; a former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi; Senator Dino Melaye; a former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung; publisher and PDP chieftain, Dele Momodu; Senators Gabriel Suswam and Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Party; and a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha.

Also in attendance is a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (retd.).

The African Democratic Congress-led coalition had announced a new venue for the official unveiling of its political platform after a sudden cancellation by the original host, Wells Carlton Hotel, earlier on Wednesday.

In a statement signed by ADC’s Deputy National Secretary, Nkem Ukandu, the coalition said the unveiling would now take place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja by 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
