In a significant effort to drive sustainable economic growth and development across Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration has successfully transformed the Bauchi State Meat Products Company under the leadership of General Manager Kabiru Abdullahi Makera.
The Northern Writers Forum made this announcement during the "End of Year 2024 Media Dialogue and Tea Breakfast" held in Kaduna, Nigeria.
The Forum commended the impressive strides made by the company, noting that under General Manager Kabiru Makera’s capable leadership, the company has shown a strong commitment to operational excellence and service delivery.
Dr. Ibrahim Yusuf, Chairman of the Forum, lauded the Bauchi State government for turning the company into one of the best in Africa. He described this as a notable achievement in enhancing agricultural development, commercial initiatives, and fostering economic growth in the region.
The Forum also acknowledged Governor Bala Mohammed’s significant role in advancing key infrastructure development initiatives across the state, with a focus on upgrading economic activities.
The group further praised the dedication of the Bauchi State government and the Head of Civil Service, Dr. Yahuza Adamu, for promoting transparency, discipline, and integrity in government schemes.
The Forum recognized the unwavering commitment and professionalism of the company’s staff, along with the support of the Bauchi State Ministry of Agriculture, in advancing the agenda for a greater Bauchi State.
In a separate development, the group also commended the staff for their strong sense of spirit, honesty, and productivity in public service.
The Secretary of the Forum, Engineer Simon Bulus, called on stakeholders in Bauchi State to support effective democratic policies and initiatives under Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed’s administration, which are aimed at promoting the best interests of the citizens and positioning the state on the global map of democracy.
He emphasized that Governor Bala Mohammed has helped make Bauchi State one of Nigeria's fastest-growing commercial hubs.
In his concluding remarks, Engineer Bulus urged all citizens to pray for the continued success of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration in Bauchi State and encouraged the Governor to consider running for president in 2027.
