The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, has called on the Muslim Ummah to remain united and promote the teachings of Islam across the country.
The Sultan made this appeal on Monday during the graduation ceremony of 600 students who memorized the Qur’an at Madarisatul Hizburahim, an Islamic school under the leadership of Sheikh Abubakar Alti in Funtua town, the headquarters of Funtua Local Government Area in Katsina State.
He also urged social media users to fear Almighty Allah and refrain from sharing content that could incite violence, tarnish the reputation of individuals, or damage the image of Islam.
The Sultan commended the founder of Madarisatul Hizburahim, Funtua, for dedicating his time and efforts to educating the Muslim Ummah about Islamic knowledge.
In his remarks, Khalifa Ali Sa’idu Alti expressed gratitude to the Sultan for honoring their invitation and attending the event.
“We commend the Sultan for gracing this occasion to witness the Qur’anic graduation of our children. We pray that Allah rewards him with paradise,” Khalifa Ali stated.
