The Director General of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Dr. Joseph Peter Ochogwu, has emphasized the need for the House of Representatives Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa to collaborate closely with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to ensure effective policy implementation.

Dr. Ochogwu made these remarks during a visit to Rt. Hon. Kwamoti B. Laori, Member of the House of Representatives representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa, on Monday.

The visit was initiated by Chairman Laori to introduce the Institute to the Committee’s strategic plan and seek its cooperation in implementing key initiatives.

Expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration, Dr. Ochogwu assured the Chairman that he would thoroughly review the strategic plan and identify potential areas where the Institute could contribute to its success, in line with the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

A key highlight of the meeting was the formal presentation of the Committee’s strategic plan, led by Chairman Laori and supported by the Committee Clerk, Mrs. Judith Ekpo. The engagement underscored a shared commitment to fostering peace, cooperation, and regional integration.
