The wife of the Bauchi State Governor, Dr. Aishatu Bala Mohammed, has commended hardworking men and women whose dedication, resilience, and sacrifices continue to drive the progress and development of the state and the nation.
In her message to mark the 2026 Workers' Day, issued by her media aide, Zainab Garba Musa, the first lady celebrated the invaluable contributions of workers across all sectors.
She described workers' commitment and perseverance as the backbone of society.
"Whether in public service, private enterprise, agriculture, healthcare, education, security, or other fields, your daily efforts are deeply appreciated and highly commendable," she said.
Aisha Bala Mohammed acknowledged the critical role of workers in nation-building and encouraged continued unity, diligence, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
She also reiterated her unwavering support for policies and initiatives that promote the welfare, dignity, and advancement of workers.
"As we mark this special day, may it inspire renewed hope, increased productivity, and shared prosperity for all," she added.
